Description

The Baumer URAM 50P6121/S14 10160351 is a high-performance ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement with a scanning range of 0 to 3000 mm and a reflector position range of 600 to 3000 mm. It features adjustable reflector ranges for both operating and limit conditions, ensuring flexibility and accuracy in various applications. The sensor offers a repeat accuracy of 3 mm and is resistant to temperature drifts of less than 2% Sde. Equipped with synchronization capabilities and available in a multiplex version upon request, it responds quickly with response and release times of less than 160 ms. Operating at a sonic frequency of 120 kHz, it includes a teach-in adjustment and a target indication flashing for easier alignment. The output is indicated by a green LED, and the sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 35 mA. It supports a PNP make function (NO) output circuit with an output current of 200 mA and includes safety features such as short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The cylindrical threaded housing is made from brass nickel-plated material, measuring 30 mm in width/diameter and 95 mm in height/length, and connects via an M12 connector.
