Description

The Baumer URAM 12N8910/S14O 11053885 is a high-speed ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement within a scanning range of 0 to 70 mm. It features a reflector position from 40 to 70 mm with an adjusting range for the reflector of ±2.5% for operating and ±5% for limit ranges. This sensor offers a repeat accuracy of 1.5 mm and is highly resistant to temperature drifts, less than 2% Sde. It boasts quick response and release times of less than 1.5 ms, and a high switching frequency of up to 200 Hz. Operating at a sonic frequency of 380 kHz, it includes an external Teach-in for easy adjustment and a target indication flashing for alignment aid. The output is indicated by a green LED, and it supports a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 35 mA. The output circuit includes NPN with make (NO) and break (NC) functions, capable of handling an output current of 200 mA. It features robust short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor is housed in a cylindrical, nickel-plated brass body, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 70 mm in length, and connects via an M12 connector. Suitable for operating temperatures from -10 to +60 °C, it is protected against ingress with an IP 67 rating, ensuring durability and reliability in various environmental conditions.
