Description
The Baumer UNAR 12N3914/S14H 11182658 is a chemically robust ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement within a scanning range of 10 to 200 mm. It features a far limit scanning range of 30 to 200 mm with a typical hysteresis of 4% Sde and repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm. The sensor operates with a temperature drift of less than 0.18% Sde/K and has quick response and release times of less than 10 ms. It emits at a sonic frequency of 380 kHz and can be configured via external Teach-in. This model does not include an LED alignment aid but is certified by Ecolab, ensuring suitability for demanding environments.
The sensor is powered by a 12 to 30 VDC supply, consuming a maximum of 35 mA with no load. It features an NPN break function (NC) output circuit with a maximum output current of 200 mA and a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. It includes protections against short circuits and reverse polarity. The cylindrical threaded design is made from stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) with a Parylene-coated active face and an EPDM O-ring. It can withstand front pressure of 6 bar for up to 20,000 cycles.
Dimensions are 12 mm in width/diameter and 70 mm in height/length, with an M12 connector type for connections. The operating temperature range is from 0 to +60 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
