Description

Baumer UNAR 12I9914/S14H 11182608 is a chemically robust ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement within a scanning range of 20 to 200 mm. It features high repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm and a resolution of less than 0.3 mm. The sensor operates with a response and release time of less than 30 ms and has a minimal temperature drift of less than 2% at distances greater than 50 mm. Operating at a sonic frequency of 380 kHz, it includes external Teach-in adjustment and lacks an LED alignment aid. Certified by Ecolab, it is suitable for demanding environments. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 15 to 30 VDC and consumes a maximum of 45 mA with no load. It offers a dual output signal of 0 to 10 mA or 10 to 0 mA, supporting a maximum output current of 20 mA. It is designed to work with load resistances between 400 and 1100 Ohm and includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Constructed with a cylindrical threaded stainless steel housing (1.4404 V4A) and a Parylene-coated active face, the sensor is durable against pressures up to 6 bar and 20,000 cycles. It measures 12 mm in width and 70 mm in length, and connects via an M12 connector. The operating temperature range is from 0 to +60 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
