Description

The Baumer UNAM 18P1703 10233682 is a high-performance ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 100 to 700 mm and a far limit scanning range of 110 to 700 mm. It features a typical hysteresis of 4% Sde and a repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm. This sensor is equipped with synchronization capabilities, a response and release time of less than 50 ms, and operates at a sonic frequency of 240 kHz. It includes a potentiometer for adjustments and a target indication flashing for alignment aid. The output is indicated by a green LED, and it supports a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 30 mA. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with an output current of 200 mA. It also features short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. The sensor is housed in a cylindrical threaded, brass nickel-plated body, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 89 mm in length, and is connected via a 2-meter cable. It operates within a temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
