Description
The Baumer U500.PA0.2-GP1J.72F 11200632 is an ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 20 to 1000 mm and features an IO-Link multiplex version. It offers a hysteresis of approximately 4% Sde and a repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm. The sensor is designed to compensate for power-up drift after 15 minutes and has a response and release time of less than 40 ms. Operating at a sonic frequency of 200 kHz, it can be adjusted via qTeach, line-Teach, or IO-Link. Visual indicators include a yellow LED for operation and a green LED for power status. The sensor's alignment accuracy is within 2°, and it operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC with a typical current consumption of 35 mA. It features a push-pull output circuit with an output current of 100 mA and a voltage drop of less than 3.5 VDC. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its rectangular housing is made from plastic (ASA, PMMA) with a PEEK-coated active face, measuring 18 mm in width, 45 mm in length, and 32 mm in depth. It connects via an M12 5-pin connector and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, with a storage temperature range of -40 to +75 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.
