Description
The Baumer U300.R50-GP1J.72CU is an ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement with a scanning range of 0 to 500 mm and a reflector position range of 15 to 500 mm. It features IO-Link communication, a repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm, and quick response times of less than 16 ms for minimum and 40 ms for standard conditions. The sensor is equipped with temperature and power-up drift compensation, operates at a sonic frequency of 290 kHz, and offers various adjustment options including qTeach, line-Teach, and IO-Link. Visual alignment is aided by a flashing light indicator and status is shown through yellow and green LEDs. It supports a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC, has a push-pull output circuit, and includes safety features like short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's robust rectangular plastic housing (ASA, PMMA) measures 12.9 mm in width, 32.2 mm in height, and 23 mm in depth, and it connects via a 4-pin, 2-meter cable. Suitable for operating temperatures from -25 to +65 °C and storage temperatures from -40 to +75 °C, it is IP 67 rated for dust and water resistance.
