Description

The Baumer OZDK 10N5150/S35A 10162952 is a diffuse contrast sensor featuring a line beam with a sensing distance of 3 to 150 mm and an optimum operating distance of 35 to 45 mm. It offers high repeat accuracy of less than 0.2 mm at laser focus. The sensor is equipped with a pulsed red laser diode light source, operating within a laser class 1 and a wavelength of 650 nm. It has a quick response and release time of less than 0.05 ms. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 40 mA and a maximum of 50 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and features both light and dark operating modes through an NPN output circuit. The sensor's compact design measures 10.4 mm in width, 27 mm in height, and 16.3 mm in depth, housed in plastic (ASA) with a PMMA front optics. It connects via an M8 4-pin connector and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress, suitable for operating temperatures from -10 to +50 °C.
