Description

Baumer OR18.EL-NV1P.7BCV 11157820 is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with an actual range of 55 m and a nominal range of 60 m. This receiver unit features a yellow LED output indicator and a green LED for power status. It offers adjustable sensitivity via a 270° potentiometer and boasts a quick response/release time of less than 0.34 ms. Operating on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, it has a typical current consumption of 35 mA and a maximum of 45 mA. The sensor supports both light and dark operating modes with an NPN complementary output circuit and can handle an output current of up to 100 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The cylindrical threaded design, with a width of 18 mm and length of 77 mm, is made from brass nickel-plated housing and PMMA front optics. It connects via a 4-pin, 2 m cable and operates within a temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.
