Description

The Baumer OPDK 14P1902/S14 11001301 is a retro-reflective laser sensor designed for transparency object detection. It features a single lens with a pulsed red laser diode light source, offering an actual range of 4.5 m and a nominal range of 5.2 m. The sensor provides high repeat accuracy of 0.1 mm at laser focus and includes a polarization filter. It is equipped with LED indicators for power status and operation, and sensitivity can be adjusted via Teach-in. The laser is safe, classified as Class 1, with a wavelength of 650 nm. It has a fast response time of less than 0.25 ms and operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC. The sensor supports a PNP output circuit with light operate function and includes protections against short circuits and reverse polarity. Its compact, rectangular design measures 14.8 mm in width, 43 mm in height, and 31 mm in depth, with a housing made of durable plastic and PMMA optics. It connects via an M12 4-pin connector and operates within a temperature range of -10 to +50 °C, boasting an IP 67 protection class for resistance to environmental elements.
