Description
The Baumer O330.EP-NDNVZ.72N/H006 is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a receiver component. It offers an actual range of 10 meters and a nominal range of 12 meters. This sensor features a flashing output indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and LED indicators for power status and output signals. It operates without sensitivity adjustment and includes suppression of reciprocal influence to prevent interference from other devices. The response time is less than 0.8 ms, ensuring quick reactions to input changes.
This model operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a typical current consumption of 25 mA, with a maximum of 50 mA when no load is present. It supports both light and dark operating modes through its NPN complementary output circuit, capable of handling an output current of up to 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
Physically, the sensor measures 11 mm in width, 32 mm in height, and 21 mm in depth, with a rectangular design and threaded sleeves M3 for mechanical mounting. It is constructed from durable plastic materials like ABS, ASA, and PMMA, with a PMMA front optics. The sensor connects via an M8 4-pin connector and is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to +55 °C, with a protection class of IP 67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70 °C.
