Description

The Baumer O200.RR-NV1Z.72NV 11212603 is a retro-reflective sensor equipped with a pulsed red LED light source. It has an actual range of 3 meters and a nominal range of 4 meters, capable of recognizing objects as small as 7 mm. This sensor features a polarization filter and provides visual feedback through a flashing output indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, along with yellow and green LEDs for output and power status, respectively. It operates without sensitivity adjustment and has a wavelength of 644 nm. Designed to suppress reciprocal influence, it offers precise alignment with an optical axis under 1.5° and boasts a quick response and release time of less than 0.5 ms. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 16 mA at 24 VDC and a maximum of 20 mA at 30 VDC. It features light/dark operate output functions, NPN complementary output circuit, and supports up to 50 mA output current. Enhanced with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, this sensor is robustly built with a plastic housing and a PMMA front optics. It is mechanically mounted using a smooth stainless steel sleeve and connects via a 4-pin M8 flylead connector. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +50 °C, it is IP 67 rated for dust and water resistance.
