Description

The Baumer O200.EL-GW1J.72NV/FREC 11224792 is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a nominal range of 6 meters and an actual range of 5 meters. It features a receiver that works with a pulsed red laser diode light source. The sensor can recognize objects as small as 3 mm, and with an aperture, this sensitivity increases to 0.5 mm. It includes a flashing output indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and LED indicators for power status and output. Sensitivity can be adjusted via Teach-in and IO-Link, ensuring flexibility in application. The sensor supports suppression of reciprocal influence, has a response time of less than 0.1 ms, and jitter less than 0.03 ms. It operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 10 mA at 24 VDC. The output function can be set to light or dark operate, and it includes push-pull output circuitry with a maximum output current of 50 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's compact design measures 8 mm in width, 25.1 mm in length, and 14.1 mm in depth, with a smooth stainless steel sleeve for mechanical mounting and a durable plastic housing. It connects via a Flylead connector M8 4 pin and is suitable for operating temperatures from -25 to +50 °C. The sensor is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
