Baumer IFRM 08P1707 is a flush-mounted, high-temperature proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% at -25 to +75°C and -10% / +15% at -25 to +100°C, and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz and requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 12 mA when unloaded. It includes a PNP make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 3 VDC and an output current of 100 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical threaded design features a PBT sensing face and a stainless steel housing, measuring 8 mm in diameter and 30 mm in length. The connection is facilitated by a 1 m FEP cable. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +100°C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
