The Baumer IFR 04.82.05 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 0.8 mm and a switching frequency of 5 kHz. It operates on a normal voltage of 8.2 VDC within a supply range of 6 to 30 VDC. The sensor features a low current consumption, with less than 4 mA when undamped and less than 1 mA when damped, and a maximum no-load consumption of 10 mA. It utilizes a NAMUR output circuit and has a residual ripple of less than 10% Vs. Designed with a cylindrical smooth shape, the sensor has a 4 mm diameter, a 25 mm housing length, and is constructed with an LCP sensing face and stainless steel housing. It includes a 2-meter cable for connectivity, operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C, and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
