Description
The Baumer FZAM 12N1104/S14 10234805 is an intensity difference sensor with a sensing distance of 30 to 200 mm. It features a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator. Sensitivity can be adjusted via a 270° potentiometer. The sensor includes suppression of reciprocal influence and utilizes a pulsed infrared diode with a wavelength of 880 nm. It has a fast response and release time of less than 1 ms. Operating on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, it consumes a maximum of 42 mA with a typical consumption of 24 mA. The output function is light operate with an NPN output circuit and a maximum output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical threaded design measures 12 mm in width and 80 mm in length, with a housing made of brass nickel-plated and a PC front optics. It connects via an M12 4-pin connector and is rated IP 65 for protection against dust and water, suitable for operating temperatures from -25 to +65 °C.
