Description

The Baumer FPDM 16P5101/S14 is a retro-reflective sensor equipped with a pulsed red LED light source, featuring a nominal range of 8.5 meters and an actual range of 7.3 meters. It includes a polarization filter and a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection. The sensor operates without sensitivity adjustment and has a wavelength of 660 nm. It is designed to suppress reciprocal influence and offers a quick response time of less than 1 ms. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 26 mA and a maximum of 36 mA. It features light/dark operate output functions through a PNP output circuit and supports an output current of 200 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
