Description

The Baumer FPDM 16N5101 10232266 is a retro-reflective sensor equipped with a pulsed red LED light source, featuring a nominal range of 8.5 meters and an actual range of 7.3 meters. It includes a polarization filter and a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection. The sensor operates without sensitivity adjustment and has a wavelength of 660 nm. It is designed to suppress reciprocal influence and offers a quick response and release time of less than 1 ms. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 26 mA and a maximum of 36 mA. It features both light and dark operating modes, an NPN output circuit, and can handle an output current of up to 200 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
