Description

The Baumer FPDK 14P5111/S35A 11001201 is a retro-reflective sensor equipped with single lens optics and a pulsed red LED light source. It features a maximum actual range of 3.2 meters and a nominal range of 3.8 meters. This sensor includes a polarization filter and a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection. The light indicator is an LED yellow, and the sensor operates without sensitivity adjustment. It has a wavelength of 660 nm and includes features to suppress reciprocal influence. The response time is less than 1 ms, ensuring quick reactions. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 20 mA and a maximum of 25 mA. It has a low voltage drop of less than 1.8 VDC. The output functions include light/dark operate with a PNP output circuit and a maximum output current of 100 mA. It also features short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Physically, the sensor measures 14.8 mm in width, 43 mm in height, and 31 mm in depth, with a rectangular design and a housing made of plastic (ASA, MABS). The front optics are made of PMMA. It connects via an M8 4-pin connector and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. The sensor is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
