Baumer FPDK 14N5111/S14 11001188 is a retro-reflective sensor featuring single lens optics and a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers a nominal range of 3.8 m and an actual range of 3.2 m. Equipped with a polarization filter and suppression of reciprocal influence, it ensures reliable detection with a response time of less than 1 ms. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and includes features like a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens, and a yellow LED light indicator. It does not require sensitivity adjustment. The output functions include light/dark operate with an NPN output circuit and a maximum output current of 100 mA. Additional protections include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's compact, rectangular design measures 14.8 mm in width, 43 mm in length, and 31 mm in depth, with a housing made of plastic (ASA, MABS) and a PMMA front optics. It connects via an M12 4-pin connector and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, with an IP 67 protection class.
