Description

Baumer FPDK 14N5111 11001187 is a retro-reflective sensor featuring single lens optics and a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers a nominal range of 3.8 m and an actual range of 3.2 m. Equipped with a polarization filter and suppression of reciprocal influence, it ensures reliable operation. The sensor has a fast response and release time of less than 1 ms, operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, and includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It does not require sensitivity adjustment. The design is rectangular, made from durable plastic materials (ASA, MABS) with a PMMA front optics, and measures 14.8 mm in width, 43 mm in length, and 31 mm in depth. It features a flashing light and LED yellow indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and water ingress, and connects via a 4-pin, 2 m cable. Output functions include light/dark operate with an NPN output circuit and a maximum output current of 100 mA.
