Description

The Baumer FPDK 10P5135 11000894 is a retro-reflective sensor equipped with a pulsed red LED light source and a polarization filter, ensuring reliable detection with a nominal range of up to 4 meters and an actual range of 3.5 meters. It features a sensitivity adjustment via a 240° potentiometer and operates with a quick response time of less than 0.5 ms. This sensor includes a flashing light and LED yellow indicator for alignment and lens contamination alerts. It supports a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a low current consumption, with a maximum of 25 mA and a typical consumption of 20 mA. The output functions can be set to light or dark operate, and it includes PNP output circuitry with an output current of 100 mA. Enhanced durability is provided by short circuit, reverse polarity protection, and an IP 65 protection class. The sensor's compact design measures 10.4 mm in width, 27 mm in height, and 16.3 mm in depth, housed in ASA plastic with a PMMA front optics. It connects via a 4-pin, 2-meter cable and operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C.
