Description
The Baumer FLDK 110G1010/S14 is a high-performance sensor designed for precise measurement and detection tasks. It features a measuring distance of 0 to 55 mm with an optimal operating distance of 40 mm. The sensor can handle a counting rate of up to 280,000 copies per hour and an object speed of up to 2 m/sec. It is equipped with a pulsed red laser diode light source with a wavelength of 670 nm and operates within a laser class 2 safety standard. The device includes a visible red measuring point and LED indicators for edge detection and power status. It does not require sensitivity adjustments and offers a push-pull output circuit with a 10 ms output pulse length. The sensor is built with a robust PA 6 housing, a glass front optics, and an M12 x 1, 5-pin connector base. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to +50 °C and is rated IP 54 for protection against dust and splashing water. The sensor also features short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable operation in various industrial environments.
